Jr. Hope Squad Advisors

At Syracuse Elementary, our Jr. Hope Squad is making a big difference—one friendship, one kind act, and one encouraging moment at a time!

Our Jr. Hope Squad is our school friendship team, made up of students who go above and beyond to help others feel welcomed, included, and connected. Throughout the year, these student leaders look for meaningful ways to strengthen our school community and remind everyone that we are better together!

From Outreach programs during recess that help students connect and find friends, to our joyful Lunch and Lemonade celebrations, the Jr. Hope Squad creates opportunities for students to feel seen, valued, and included. They also play an important role during Hope Week, helping spread messages of kindness, connection, and hope throughout our school.

What makes our Jr. Hope Squad so special is the heart these students bring to their work. They notice when someone might need a friend, look for ways to lift others, and help create the loving and welcoming culture we want every student at Syracuse Elementary to experience.

We are incredibly proud of our Jr. Hope Squad students and the positive example they set for our entire school community. Thank you for being leaders who choose kindness, friendship, and hope! 🐝

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Jr. Hope Squad advisors—Mrs. Chenoweth, Mrs. Larsen, Mrs. Griffin, and Mrs. Kutterer. Thank you for giving your time, energy, and hearts to support these students and for helping them turn their ideas into meaningful experiences for our school community.

Together, our Jr. Hope Squad is helping Syracuse Elementary become a place where everyone belongs, everyone matters, and everyone has someone in their corner. 🐝
